CBG oil Vs CBD oil
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a cannabinoid, its one of the many chemicals found in cannabis plant.
The market is saturated with CBD oil and many different types of extractions. So maybe CBG is the only real way to break free from the giants within the CBD industry’s threshold.
How does CBG oil compare to CBD?
CBD and CBG are both nonintoxicating cannabinoids, meaning you can tell anyone born before the 1970s it won’t get you high and its not to be compared. CBG and CBD both interact with the same receptors in the body and appear to have anti-inflammatory effects.
However, CBG does seem to have some different functions and health benefits than CBD.
To list a few.
Glaucoma. Cannabis seems to effectively treat glaucoma, and CBG might be partly responsible for its efficacy.
Inflammatory bowel disease. CBG seems to reduce the inflammation associated with Inflammatory bowel disease.
Bacterial infections. CBG can kill bacteria, particularly MRSA which causes drug-resistant staph infections.
Cancer. A study in 2014 investigated colon cancer in rats and concluded that CBG might help reduce the growth of cancer cells and other tumours.
Does CBG cause any side effects?
Very little is known about side effects from CBG or CBD oil. Every Cannabinoid study are conducted on vermin just like other products within the worlds market and there has been no side effects.
The main difference is that CBG hasn’t had as much traction as CBD and this could be down to large companies who haven’t looked into CBG but rather focus on CBD products.
